PMA Long Course 155 is considered the prestigious two-year training course that embodies all attributes required to make any person a commissioned officer in the Pakistan Army. It is conducted once in the month of March and once in the month of October each year. Students who complete this course are given a degree in Bachelor of Military Art and Science and are given the rank of Second Lieutenant within the Pakistan Army.
It is divided into six terms and the registration date for PMA Long Course 155 will start from November 06, 2024, and it will last up to December 06, 2024. Candidates belonging to some areas of Pakistan have relaxation in the marks requirement. They have to score 55% marks instead of 60% marks in FA/FSc. The following areas will be included in this relaxation:

Selection Criteria
It consists of various phases in the selection procedure:
- Initial Test: It is a multiple-choice test comprising English, Islamic Studies, General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Mathematics, Quantitative Ability, and Everyday Sciences. The candidates must obtain at least 12 marks to qualify.
- Verbal and Non-Verbal Tests: The tests are specifically constructed to determine the intelligence quotient of candidates, logical reasoning, and analysis. Verbal tests encompass language and comprehension, while the non-verbal tests encompass problems on space and pattern respectively.
- General Knowledge: A candidate is required to know about world affairs, current events, and salient features of the history, geography, and culture of Pakistan.
- Medical & Physical Test: It’s essential for making sure that a candidate maintains overall required physical and medical standards.
- ISSB Test: Consists of tests of psychological nature, outdoor activities aimed at testing team-work and leadership qualities, and interviews.
- Final Selection: It follows at GHQ on an overall merit system.

Initial Test
The initial test includes:
- Academic Test: A test consisting of subjects, which include English, Islamic Studies, General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Mathematics, Quantitative Ability, and Everyday Sciences.
- Verbal and Non-Verbal Tests: Designed to test the candidate’s intelligence quotient, reasoning, and analytical ability.
Verbal Intelligence Questions:

Medical & Physical Test
Physical Test Requirements:
- 6 KM Running: Must be completed within 8 minutes.
- Push-Ups: 15 push-ups in 2 minutes.
- Chin-Ups: 3 chin-ups in 2 minutes.
- Sit-Ups: 20 sit-ups in 2 minutes.
- Ditch Crossing: Must cross a 7 feet 4 inches long and 4 feet deep ditch.
Medical Examination:
- Eye Test: Vision and color blindness assessment.
- Complete Body Test: Includes checks for major operations, injuries, knee knocking, and other disabilities.
- ENT Test: Examination of the ear, nose, and throat, including dental check.
ISSB Test
The tests included in the ISSB are as follows:
- Psychological Tests: Also includes verbal and non-verbal intelligence, personality, and mechanical aptitude.
